If you love dogs and want to make a difference in the lives of others, this is a great project for you.  You can be a puppy sitter and have a dog only when it is convenient for you, or you can raise a puppy from 8 weeks to 16 months.   The program has been part of 4-H since 1942, and teens learn the basic commands, grooming, and handling of a guide dog.
