Project Leader & Contact Information
Project Description
This project teaches youth about photography as an art, a science and a communication tool while developing and applying technical and artistic skills. Classes will be co-lead by 4-H photography leaders and a professional photographer. Photography is a year-long project with meetings held September-April. 4-Hers at all levels (Clover-Seniors) are able to participate. All skill levels are welcome. It is highly recommended that students have an iPhone/Android or a DSLR camera to take photos. Students without access to camera may still join the project. Participants who want to enter photo competitions will have a chance to do so. Some competitions will require emailing photos directly to the organization or printing photos per the specifications of the contest. Photography is a very low-cost project and cost associated are printing and mounting photos. The first meeting will be held on September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the County Extension Office.
